Life Skill Readers Package

Life Skill Readers Package is a photo-illustrated reading comprehension program containing the Life Skill Readers book and software that features contemporary life skill themes. Ideal for an older student who is are reading at a second grade level or below.

The Life Skill Readers book presents 40 stories in six content areas: Community, Personal, School, Signs, Transportation and Work. Stories describe places (grocery stores, restaurants), things (community signs) and activities (going on a date). Each story has three, five, or seven pages of easy-to-read text with study questions.

Story pages can be printed from the PDF on CD or photocopied. Covered spiral bound book, 290 pgs., with a Win/Mac CD with printable PDF, 2005.

The Life Skill Readers Multimedia Software presents 40 talking books with computer-graded tests. Teachers can assign stories to students and select whether each word or sentence is highlighted as the computer reads the text aloud. The program has an easy-to-use interface that maintains the look and feel of a traditional book.
